You've heard of the three dog night...well here's a three dog morning...
My wife's rescue celebrated its 50th pet intake this week. Not bad for one person donating 80 hours a week , seven days a week, for the past 90 weeks to single-handedly operate the only shelter in this region (serving our tiny town plus nine of the surrounding first Nations communities). Three pups in care today - it would be four except she personally adopted #46 a couple weeks ago.
That's Scotch below, lounging next to my desk. All of the RUFFCUE intake have been "Rez Dogs", and he is no exception. Scotch and his two siblings here have the nicest dispositions we've ever seen

Lily (my Golden Doodle) and Pax (my daughter's pit mix) seem to have the same routine every time they get together.
- Run around whichever yard we're in.
- Do their business.
- Wrestle and hassle each other.
- Eat.
- Wrestle and hassle each other.
- Rest.
Nothing like the wind your face!
