I love them both equally (please don't ask me to pick!). SV-Pre for SVT/V4B type or Slampegg for B-15. Flip Top is a great B-15 pedal too.
I depends what you are after but you can't go wrong IMO with any of these.

If you go with the Slampegg I recommend the HW (hand wired, higher voltage) version seen on my smaller board.

They both grind well as delivered. I put a lower gain tube in both of my Slampeggs for more clean gain. But I can still coax lovely breakup from it if I drive it. On both the Broughton and Sushi-Box I run the master at full and go easy on the gain knob. I guess I'm really not the right guy for your answer!

Does it count as a tidy pedalboard if I haven’t finished with the wife’s label maker? This was the first time doing a major board build of this scale so haven’t quite achieved the Brian Omilion levels of cable runs. Hopefully the Mk3 will be a stronger effort.

not and ad. rec'd it today. very nice. time to wire it up. had to order more Mogami's just now

rubber wire things off amazon, worth a try. dont stick, unless you rub down alcohol on surface, i used heat gun to get them stickier. I dont have many bass pedals, guitar setup is shown. getting closer to tidy, def less clutter

Rearranged my boards to a fairly tidy setup. Significantly cut it down to almost the essentials, still need to decide on a full time fuzz though.

It's better than before but it still bothers me. I know I could run the instrument cables the same way I did the power cables, parallel to each other... But that would take a lot of money and honestly, I don't feel like spending hundreds of gazoos on some freaking cables.

Thanks a lot! I play mostly death metal and its different sub genres. Also some classical and classical adjacent stuff.

The one on the right is a Markbass compressore. A tube compressor.

I guess the hot rod yellow of the Compressore wasn't quite gelling with the general death metal motif; is that neat custom cover your handiwork, or someone else's?

In my practical world good enough is often good enough. Your board is much better (cleaner) than good enough!

I am very happy with my new power units: two of Tomanek ISO-10 (full separated outputs), some noises has disappeared. This guys powering 17 of my pedals.

I recently spent about $300 here & there for minor patches (cables) 1 ft to 6 ft, angled & what not... for good cables. Small hit, but they do sound better. Mogami .. Worlds Best ... w/ Neutrix connectors. I figure it's kinda like auto parts, buy the cheap oem-matched parts and replace them every year, or just buy something quality .. will probably last longer then you or I, in the long run. I replaced my 20 yr old mic cables with mogami, big difference. (xlr shielded, huge diff.)
