what genre are you in, thats nuts to me.. Im a simple bass guy
i have yet to find full time fuzz bass pedal for recording. I have EHX big muff, i find recording dry is easier, then manipulate in DAW .. my 2 cents .. the fuzz pedal is good for reheasal, yes. I prefer rather dry bass into daw
It's quite difficult to explain what I'm doing.
I bought a cello in XII 2007 as a 22 y.o. man and from that moment I am learning it, mixing styles: jazz/blues, rock/metal, electronic/simple classical pieces - by using a bows, fingers and sometimes bass/guitar picks.
I have amped my cello in 2018 (with only: cheap guitar amp / built-in fx + Bespeco wah-volume modded pedal). Next: put on some effects (~Klon clone, Deep blue delay, buffer & booster + 1 Ampeg amp) in 2019. Switched (fall in love...) into Boss about 2021 with already 3 Ampeg amps.
The evolution is real! so went on a mini Spaceman binge and with some signal path suggestions from a TB member I have revised my Tidy Pedalboard and until I mess it up with something else, I'm happy with what is coming out of it.

I just finished this yesterday. It's my first pedalboard.
Here is the most recent board, just finished this afternoon. It's mainly for guitar, but I will still be able to use it for bass as well.

Any tips for tidying up a board? It seems like no matter how much I try I am unable to tame the cable spaghetti.
Cable tie mounts and custom length cabling goes some way there. Really serious planning is pretty important too.
I’m hoping the next iteration will be even better. Trying not to spend too much time looking at professional board builds online because otherwise it just gets very depressing.
Man, I've tried it and just can't seem to get there. Maybe I'll make this a Spring Cleaning project lol
I don’t think I have posted my pedalboard in this thread. It’s mostly for guitar, but I like playing bass through it as well. It’s an NYC Cases Lunchbox board, and I soldered all of the Mogami cables. Bonus shot of my amplifier. Thanks!

Serious planning, indeed; you'd best be committed to every single thing on that board. Knowing me, I'd just be praying the whole time that nothing ever required swapping out!
