Nice bass. Is that the regular J body or the "Jay Jr."? I've got a Warmoth "Dinky J" and find it's a little lighter and easier to handle than a "true" J.
It's a reg. J shape,the bass is just just under 10lbs. like 9lbs.12 oz.It is a bit different to get around the lower horn in the highest register but, this bass is very well balanced and has no neck dive issues.

I put this one together a while ago and it was a smokin' bass. I wish I knew where it was, I'd buy it back. The neck and board were a beautiful birdseye Maple. Body is Ash, DiMarzio Ultra J pickups, East J retro dlx preamp and Hipshot hardware. I found some videos of rehearsals playing this bass and it sounds fantastic. I reshaped the headstock. I always loved the way it looked.

That is a seriously swank looking axe my friend...must sound amazing with the DiMarzios/Retro. ..with blocks too! I'm sure they'll be getting a ton of business now.
