Damn, that's beautiful. That tort guard looks sweet. That can't be a standard Fender tort PG. Where'd you get it?

And you should have dressed it up with the bridge cover for the photo shoot. ;) For cosmetic reasons, mind you. Leave it off for playing.

Thanks! :) Yes, you are correct - it is not a standard Fender tort PG. (it's a Spitfire) I do have the bridge cover and should have installed it for the 'perfect light' shot… (but didn't!) I agree it looks deluxe and only for show. I'm still on the fence about using the neck pu cover…

Ahh... Spitfire, eh? I'll have to check that out. That tort looks amazing. Thanks.

Spitfire tort pg's are actually nicer than most original 60's Fender tort as each one is unique/hand painted in which you have a choice of individual styles. Mark's pg's also have authentic thin-black-center-layer stock which no other aftermarket tort pg producers offer. And in case you haven't checked current prices on original vintage 60's tort pg's (over $600!) his offerings are well worth the price for what you are getting.

ftr - mine is vintage bright red/speckled 60's/relic-extra light
