Shuttle 9.0?

I think there may have been a misunderstanding -- one of those STL6.0s in the classifieds may be the one I'll sell to get the 9.0! I have absolutely no need for a 9.0 as my 6.0 is plenty loud enough for anything I do, but since when has need had anything to do with GAS?!

Well, as soon as the hands start trembling from GAS attack & you'll take $350 for your 6.0 -- I'm all over it!!!!!!

500 watts into 8 ohms = perfect for one of my small 8 ohm NEO Cabs for the low volume stuff.

900 watts into 4 ohms = even more perfect into my two 8 ohm NEO Cabs.

Hmmm! (rubbing whiskers on chin) I wonder if a Shuttlemax 9.0 or 18.0 could be somewhere in the not too distant future. I've got a 6.0, been contemplating the 12.0 or another 6.0 to run slave. Looks like some other options might be on the horizon.

That 9.0 would take care of everything... and i love my 12 and 6.. but 500 watts at 8... done deal.. this will sell like hotcakes to the headroom folks... I know about a dozen players immediately that are looking for exactly this amp

While it's a good thing to see more power in a small box...I am totally fine with my 6.0...600 watts is plenty of swat for all my gigs. This doesn't really offer anything new for me besides the cool black look.

I'd been waiting for this announcement prior to ordering my MAX12.0. While I dig it (love the black!) I'm really after the blend of FET/tube, so the 12 is still the one for me. Of course, if a MAX18 does follow soon, I'll have a sad sack look on my face.

Definitely a cool amp, though...I imagine there will be plenty of fellow low-noters running this one soon.

D@mn, I've only had my Shuttle 6.0 for a few months, but I was kind of thinking I could use just a smidge more power. I really dig my 6.0, but the 9.0 might be the next "have to have it" item on my G.A.S. list. lol

Just contacted my dealer, said he already had 4 on order. This along with the Schroeder 1212 he has, may just be what I need. 54 lbs total w/ 900 watts = 16.7 watts per pound. oh yeah!

I only have a shuttle 3.0, not 6, but is it possible to bypass the tube? Or perhaps they will offer an FET version...?

Only a matter of time. That's the amp I want.

Although MAX24 has a nice ring to it. A nice match for 20amp outlets. Got to love their responsiveness to the market. It's nice to see a company taking markbass head on in competition.
