Shuttle Max 12.0 & 212T NEOX ordered!

I'm getting ready to head to Charleston to pickup my new rig :hyper: Later tonight or tomorrow I will tell you what I think about it. I'm still looking for a band to play with so I can't give any real world opinions just yet. One thing I will say now is if any one out there is considering Genz Benz, you will not find a better music store than Ye Olde Music in Charleston SC. This is my first dealings with Michael, the owner, but it won't be my last. Great knowledge, super personality, plus prices I did not even try to negotiate. I will be doing 90% of my business a 100 miles from home from now own, but people make a difference.! :D

I was in Ye Olde Music Shoppe yesterday, and saw your rig sitting in its GB boxes at the front of the store waiting for you to pick up. Make sure Michael gives you one of the Genz Benz T-shirts Jeff Genzler sent him for being one of the top sellers of Shuttles!!

Let us know how you like it - I have exactly the same rig and it will NOT dissapoint :)

I already sent Coastie a t-shirt. :D

I had to pry mine out of Michael's warm, live fingers ;)

hey, sorry for the OT post but, I manage a group of product managers out of an office in Charleston.....North Charleston to be exact. This brings me to Charleston about once a month. What a beautiful area.

I dine a lot down around the Bay Street area.

I am originally from London, but came here 4 years ago and liked it so much I decided to stay. You mean East Bay I think - plenty of nice places to eat. I am trying hard to push the GB sales in this area (via Michael of course) :hyper:
Shouldn't be long before our OP reports back on his new rig - I bet he is lost for words!

yes...East Bay- I frequent Blossoms, High Cotton and SNOB.

Cyprus too. I'm making myself hungry. :D

You must know Michael well - his place is just off Remount Rd - about 400 yards from your offices...

the funny thing is that I've never visited his office. But yes, that is where my office is. Five minutes from the airport ......and I always stay at the Embassy Suites there.

Thanks for the t-shirt Hasbeen! That rig is now sitting in my practice room instead of Michael's shop. I am darn near speechless, blown away, by both the sound of this amp and the sheer power!:D It will be a while tinkering with all the possibilities that you are given in sound control to decide a favorite, if ever. I am truly amazed. My new 5 string Ibanez has active PUPs only and my ears can't stand the volume to make the limit light come on. Every great thing that has been said about this amp, and I can't leave out the 212T NEOX cabinet is 100% true. The cabinet is unbelievably light for a 2-12 cabinet. It is not even close to as heavy as my Peavey TNT 1-15 Combo. Genz Benz has really done some outstanding engineering to get all of this into a 6.75 lb amp head and a (don't feel like it) 50 lb cabinet.
Genz Benz, you have a champion in this amp, as well as a champion dealer in Micheal and his staff at Ye Olde Music in Charleston, SC.
If you are trying to decide, don't dwell on it any longer, as many said to me, you will not regret buying a Genz Benz! :bassist:
