This is a goofy question, but does anyone know how Fender/Squire picks who they give a signature model? There are a lot of awesome long term p bass players out there that don't get any love in that department but Chris Aiken and Mikey Way get signature models. Not saying that's bad and they're great players, but it just seems kind of random. I realize this is a silly question, but I'm actually curious.
