So many bassists obsess over gear to get the "the sound" only go gig out and DI into the PA.
It seems to me that all that careful sound crafting goes right out the window and only serves the bassist on stage and that the audience is subjected to the whims of whatever the sound tech decides is "the sound".
Any advice on how to maintain your signature sound when using DI PA support? (Please don't say mic the cab).
