Hi,
Were there any updates made to the site today? I'm suddenly having significant issues with the Talkbass.com homepage page load and login process that I have never encountered before.
When I attempt to load the homepage as I normally do, I see a bunch of items (many ad-related) attempting to run on the page in my browser. It almost seems like something may be stalling or getting hung up with these, as the page load stalls and never completes for me like it normally does.
During this, I am unable to use the Login functionality or interact with anything on the page. If I'm able to get the login prompt boxes to pull up at all, it freezes up as I'm attempting to enter my login info into the box and I can't proceed.
I've tested this on 2 different computers today as well as my mobile device, and I'm having similar issues on all 3 of them. The only way I've been able to log in reliably today is through a Firefox Private Window on desktop. I've attempted to clear my cache and I'm not having any luck in Chrome, Chrome Incognito mode or regular Firefox, only in a Firefox Private Window.
Whatever this is, Firefox Private Window appears to allow the page to complete the load with no issues, and then I'm able to log in and access the site no problem.
A few examples of what I'm seeing in-browser during the page load issues:
The above are a few different examples that process upon initial page load for me, I just grabbed random screenshots of a few of them in case this is helpful at all.
Browser is stuck like this indefinitely when I try to access the homepage, it just continues attempting to load. I am unable to login or interact with anything on the site during this, I am forced to close the window each time.
Thoughts on this? Hoping there may be a known explanation or recent update, because I was not encountering this at all before today.
Thanks!
