Silly question about wich bass to put a graphite neck on

I have a dark red Stingray 5 from the late 80ties and a semi-new black Sterling ray35. I really like the black on black look with a graphite neck on a black bass. My question if you think the Indonisian bass deserves the fancy status neck? Is the eq and body materials as good as the real stingray 5?
I really like the neck on the Stingray 5.

Man leave the red Ray alone! and put the neck on your sterling.(that is what I would do) or try it on both and here and feel which one you like best.
from what I understand the Indonesian sterling's have the USA pickups & EQ & hardware.and the wood is good to.
tell us what you do & post a pic when done!

I'm with exidor above :)

I would leave the US one alone, for the simple reason that you already like the neck on that one so much.
The difference between the two bodies are probably going to be less than the difference between the necks.... so put the neck on the Sterling. :-)
If you don't like it, you can always just switch back :-)

+1

Why would you change the neck on a bass you like?

Bolt on necks can always be swapped back.
