Last week, one of my flatmates looked at one of my hands and declared that I was a freak. I had never realised it before, but one of my hands is not normal. Rather than having the usual pattern of creases, my left hand has a single crease running straight across the middle. I looked it up on the internet, and it is called a Simian Line - apparently roughly 1 in 30 people have one. I have asked loads of people, and I have only found one other person who has one.
I figure that with the number of people on TB, there must be more people who have one. So - anyone?
Here is a photo of mine:
And my right hand for comparison:
Oh, and I should mention that the dark mark on the base of the thumb on this hand is not a mole or cancer. Its the end of a pencil lead which is stuck in there. I get people asking me a lot.
EDIT1: My hands are not different colours either - it is just the lighting.
EDIT2: The new picture does not have funny lighting so ignore that ^
EDIT3: The new picture may have slightly funny lighting, so see EDIT1.
