Double Bass Similar To Ergo

Hello EUB peeps,

I' ve been doing a lot of reading here in the EUB section. Specially the Ergo Megathreads.

I' m just wondering what other electric upright basses out there that are similar to an Ergo price wise and quality wise. I prefer a non Chnese made ones.

Don't think so.
The Ergo is probably the best quality/price deal available.
Are you looking for the same stick-like design?

I don't really care about the look. My budget is under a thousand. I'll be using it for bluegrass/ country and some arco playing. Also I don't want Chinese made.

This other member, from Ontario (Hamilton, last I know), tried to sell his Ergo several months back and decided to keep it.
Maybe you could verify with him?

I'll PM them later. There's also this guy who was selling one. His used to be an 8 stringer. But it's converted to a 4 string.

I hope the money clears soon by the way. When I used to send money to Florida. The money cleared fast. How many days do you think is shipping?
