Simple DI box for active bass?

I started using a Nobelium which the jury is still out on. It has a few questionable design decisions in the circuitry. So I would like to get a long term use on it before recommending. Since I gig almost every weekend, and on some weekdays throughout the year, I probably put it through its paces.
I will be interested to hear about your experiences regarding the durability of your Nobelium once you have gigged a bit with it.

I do have a Steadi Go! from C2C but I've not built it yet. There's a guy on here that has and posted some sound clips. It sounds good, but the change is rather mild, or slight in my ears. The circuit is an Alembic F2b front end copy (input to 1st tube stage), then a simple tube cathode follower, and finally a volume pot.
I think you might find it is a simplified version of an Ampeg SVT DI, at least that is what I find it most similar to.
I think Nathan said he wanted a super simple DI without any bells and whistles when he made the Steddi Go.
I still haven't built mine neither but it should be soon, I have all the gear including the finished 125B box just sitting here.
