Simple (I Hope) SONAR question

check the audio settings on the pc for the soundcard, you should be able to adjust the recording level. Go through control panel/audio.

You probably have a different record out level and a headphone monitor level on the POD so make sure those are both up as well. If you have a standard soundcard for your pc you will be pretty limited in the control you have over input.

You can also boost input levels in Sonar in the gain section can't you?

I'm not familiar with the pod setup, but if it's hooked up via USB, it probably has a control panel somewhere to change its input volume. When I record into a computer, the setup I use has a nice Edirol USB card. Apparently the thing had sounded awful when my group first started to use it, but it was because the driver was shoddy. If that's not the problem, then you'll just have to boost the gain using Sonar.
