So I've always had a fascination with Korn. For their simplicity, viciousness, and unique use of odd sounds. But there's one thing that always stood out over the 7 string guitars tuned to A. Jonathan davis's vocals. He has such control and such a unique sound, is it possible to replicate without effects? All he does is layer his voice but even live, it's awesome

Voice is onething you can't replicate. A sound is possible so is a phrase or something longer. But, you can't replicate a voice completly because of something simple. Pauses. We all take pauses when talking and don't know it. That pause along with pitch, and volume makes a soundwave pattern that you can see through recording programs.
Even the best imtation will fail to sound/look EXACTLY like the original.
