Cool thread! Here is what I picked up today from my local La Bodega. Cheers!

Great choices. I've never seen a little bottle of The Macallan 12. I'll have to see if I can find one.
The Mac 12 was really good, nice finish. The Highland Park has a great kick, 46.8 ABV will do that haha. The Glenfiddich 15 Solera is unlike any other fiddich, and I actually enjoy this expression more than the fiddich 18. Solera is a good idea imo, it has a long satisfying finish.
I'm thinking about picking up the Laphroaig 10 that La Bodega has "for sale" at 39.99.. Good deal? Im missing some Islay in my collection.
Alright fellas, I have list here of some single malts Id like to try. Id like to throw a few out there that Im planning on buying/trying soon and Id like some of your thoughts, experiences, etc. on them.
First few are a Highland Park 12, Old Pulteney 12, Caol Ila 12, and Glenmorangie 10.. Im looking to experience different whiskys without breaking the bank first.
The only one I can comment on is Glenmorangie 10, which is quite good. If you can, find this gift pack:

It's a great way to experience some of their other scotches.
Good call, I will be on the look out for that gift pack. Have you tried any of those sample bottles?

Glenmorangie is super easy to drink. I love Highland Park 18, but not cheap, 12 is nice. Caol Ila (pronounced like cool islay I think) is nice, has peat. Putney is nice too.
I found one at BevMo last year on sale for $40 after tax. Yeah, I sampled everything, all of them were fantastic, but the Nector D'Or was my favorite.
The HP Dark Origins is killer! I want a bottle bad. No age statement on it, I mean Id like to know the age but other than that, it really doesn't bother me..
How do you scotch guys feel about bottles with out age statements?
I don't care about age statements at all.
You're drunk again.
I'm not!
But the thing is there's just so many great NAS whiskies out there. Kilchomans, most Ardbegs, Bruichladdich Octomores, etc.
And besides, you're the one on drugs.
