Double Bass single rack space digital amp

Peavey used to, not sure if its made anymore. SoundTech has one, but the fan is really noisy. Stewart 1.2 is supposedly good, but it depends on your definition of "serious power." Tons of threads on this topic already, just do a search. Good luck!
I have an old Peavey DPC 1000. Exactly what you are talking about. It has some issues. Send me a message if you want to hear more.

I think he's looking for a newer "digital" power amp - small and lightweight, like many of the newer full-function amps that weigh less than 5 pounds.

Not newer but reasonably light at 12 lbs (I think) and 'serious power' at 1500 watts at 4ohms (I think).

The TC Electronic amps are looking pretty sweet. I can't tell how many rack spaces they take up. I know the Genz-Benz are two.
Just to clarify, I would like a preamp/poweramp combo not just the poweramp. I know there are quite a few of those out there.

Figure they're getting close and there might be something I don't know about yet! All these little amps would have been a joke just a few years ago.
I didn't either but I'm so sick of feeding back I'm getting a 5-band para EQ to go in a rack, might as well put the head in there too.
500 watts should be fine. The more the better though! I've got an aggie 410 that I use with my electric and would like to be able to pump the upright through there for big gigs.
