Thanks so much! I will know more by Friday 8/14/2015.I can't believe I forgot to subscribe to this! Good luck with the production run!![]()
Thanks man!Nice, these are looking great.
Good to see you putting the designs out there for anyone to play with too.
Thank you so much! Considering the fact that these tuners were originally designed for the dual course build you and I have been discussing that is great news!I have had a bass on loan to me from Michael for a week or so. The bass is equipped with his tuners, the tuners that are the topic of this thread. Man, these tuners are great. No other way to say it. They adjust easily, they hold a tune... perfect. One thing I don't think most people get is just how tiny the tuners are, check out the pics I have laid a quarter, a nickel, and a dime next to the tuners to give an idea. When it is time to pull the trigger on my dual course I will certainly insist on these tuners.

Thanks so much! These really came together nicely Michael....really good job. Mucho props.
I'm still hoping to use 4 of these on that 8 string build I was telling you about.
Any more info on these? Thanks so much! I will know more by Friday 8/14/2015.
Any more info on these?
I assume you mean is there an update on getting the production run machined. Unfortunately I am still waiting for the machinist to get back to me with a cost and ETA. I am hoping to have more information by Monday or Tuesday of next week.I'm eager to know too!![]()
They are .375" wide and about 1/2" high, so I expect that they would work. For a five string you would need 1.875" of width to mount them, and a four string would need 1.5". I personally like 1.5" wide nuts for my five string basses, so they would not work well for me in this configuration.I'm curious, especially in light of the small size, could these be used at the top of the headstock.
I just sent you a PM with the details.Any idea what you would sell these at?
