Sire 2025 - New Lightweight Models!

When will these come out you think?

Last year with the brand new Z5/7 basses, they were announced at NAMM, but didn't really become widely available until mid/late summer, I believe. All the major review videos (Anderton's, etc) started getting released last August/September.

I would guess a similar timeframe for new basses this year. But here's hoping they'll actually hit the market faster.

Anderton's pre-order says it will probably be a minimum of 3 months before they have stock (possibly longer).

I’m pretty sure Andertons have deliveries from Sire every 3-4 months. I was told they have a delivery scheduled to arrive the end of January with the next expected delivery at the end of May (in which I’m hoping my order for my Z7-5 should arrive). If it’s not on that delivery I’m not sure whether I am prepared to wait until possibly the end of September or cancel my order and get a refund on my deposit (or choose another bass).

I saw some of these become available last night.........and I immediately got Weak in the knees.....and Light in the Wallet. It arrives Monday. I have NO Clue whatsoever as to what the Various "Generations" thing is all about. #ebonyfretboard

What happened to the frets on this picture beneath the A and D string? I just thought that would be a partly fretless M7...

I wondered the same exact thing when I first saw the photograph.......Turns out that it's simply a weird Photograph......Normal frets.
