To be fair, this could be forced to on TB by lawyers and rising costs of scams. MFA is just the easiest way to say they're doing their duty and reduce liability.

I don't like it either though. It's a forum that I can't even delete my posts, so why would I put any personal information out there?
Ya, its a bummer to have this policy foisted upon us...
But, the powers that be are doing it to protect us good guys. These are the times we live in.
We could go on about why our society has gotten to this point, or even allows this to continue.
My bank has implemented policies, that at first seemed a PIA, but, I grew to appreciate them, as they have ultimately protected me from the bad guys.

So, the bad guys have infiltrated our bass community -- bottom line! They're f'n with our brothers & sisters. On line there are few courses of action we can take for retribution.

We should thank the powers that be for being active/proactive before more damage is done.
It would seem that they are not just sitting on their asses, & wringing their hands in inaction.

I say this in anticipation of cursing like a drunken sailor, when my codes don't work!

Agreed. I simply won't bother with MFA just to post a message on a forum.

Agreed. Banks have sensitive that needs to be protected. Messages on a forum is not sensitive data, IMHO.

I believe my v5 4 string has a Chrome Flats on it when I got it. I had those on my P bass before this as well and I am thinking of trying a true full on flat either La Bella or TI. So two questions as I did a search for those keywords in the thread and didn't see any specifics:

1. Which model La Bella and TI would be the right one for a string through v5 very specifically?
2. I couldn't find anyone that has done a video on string comparisons on a Sire jazz? I see Lowendlobster did a p5 comparison but I don't see a jazz video?

Well ... on the P bass they will sound a bit more precise.
While on the J bass they will sound a bit jazzier.

I'm glad SOMEONE is technical around here! Sheesh.:p
