Please be advised that chrome knobs are not available and not for sale any longer. They were available for a limited time only. They were not for sale and was provided as a gift for a limited time for certain customers. Unfortunately we had many accidents that damaged the preamp while changing the knobs and have discontinued providing them. If you intend to get the knobs from other stores and change them, please be careful not to damage the preamp. The stock knobs are pretty tight and we advise not to change them if it appears to be difficult to pull out. We advise NOT to change the stock knobs to chrome knobs to avoid accidents.

How funny...I was apparently one of those customers in 2015, and now 6 years later, I am about to get new strings and bass setup professionally, I find these knobs in my case in the bag that a strap they gave me came in, and I wonder W.T.F.?

Googling, I found this forum post, and it answers the question of whether I should get these put on for fun while its in the shop. I GUESS NOT!

Although, frankly, I was thinking I would really miss the position indicators on the black knobs that help knowing what's it set to with a quick look (and has it gotten moved/changed by mistake).

To me these are in the area of "that's REALLY cool but I wouldn't be caught dead with one onstage"... same as the burgundy mist. One of the pretties basses I've ever seen but most decidedly NOT me. I am quite sure you will rock this thing!

It's a pretty bold choice, especially for an old dude like me. Had it not had a matching headstock I probably wouldn't have been into it as much. I want a sonic blue V3 now.

I hope I do not get banned for a non-bass-based question: As I'm really content with my Sire basses, I'd interested in the Sire Larry Carlton electric guitars that have been sold since last year. Unfortunately, there is not much customer information available, contrary to the basses.

Have you ever tried one of these, say the S7 strat copy, and could share some insights?

No one here with own experiences? I'm just somewhat puzzled that Sire's basses had immediately many customer reviews whereas now, as a known brand and the much bigger guitar market, there's not that much to find... (or I just missed it).

I have one and I bought one for a friend too. They're really nice. Locking tuners, roasted neck, great sounding electronics. I'm not a guitar player and bought it to record with or for others to play when hanging out. Looks and feels very premium.

So that one is not yet modded? :) Thanks for the positive feedback, the TBL would be my choice, too.

I almost bought one too, but kind of wanted to wait for the new modern Tele version. Those look awesome! But I've been wondering about reviews as well. Andertons has a couple of videos on them I believe though.

That is one SWEET looking axe, Lobster !

Managed to snag this off of Reverb. I will gladly take a number.

I've been looking forever for one of these and I'm absolutely blown away by it. Fantastic bass at a price that doesn't make me wince. (too much)

I'm STILL blown away by my P7 !!!! Congrats, brother and welcome to the SIRE world. The BEST production "Fender type" basses ever made.

Thanks man! I love that I can turn that mid sweep one way and get a real beefy sound and then turn it another way and get a sharp growl out of it pick style. Such versatility, feels amazing. Really can't complain. The tuners aren't the greatest but that's not a huge deal. It's a nitpicky con.

I bet your P7 sounds killer! I was seriously looking into one of those. You got a picture of it
