I'd like to find a wiring harness for my V5 that is as "drop-in" as possible and I'm having trouble finding definitive information... so...

1. Is the hole pattern/shape of the control plate 'standard' sized. My fingers are crossed for a yes on this because then I could get a solderless system pre-loaded...

or the other option

2. What is the diameter of the pot shafts, as in will I have to do some drilling on the plate

Thanks to anybody who can help me out, I'm in a spot where I have limited resources for building/repair/...even measurement, so all help is appreciated

Something I did and it is a $1.50 investment is to go to the Dollar Store and get clear gloss nail polish and put a dab on each fret marker. Just by playing and the light in the room you will always see a reflection very easily. They also have glow in the dark nail polish, so that works, too. I find the clear is the least intrusive and does the trick.

EDIT : Duh, if I had just looked up I would've seen @Rod Barchetta suggesting the same thing.
Not as cheap, but I once used dots from a silver paint-pen... though the clear nail polish sounds pretty good
