Sire v5 vs v7 frets

I've heard that the sire v5 has smaller/narrower frets. Does this mean that the fretboard is easier or harder to play than the v7? I plan to use a sadowsky preamp/di box on either of these basses, and I really want the 70s pickup spacing to get that crisp slap tone.

Is the v5 more growly/mid rangey than the v7 vintage?

are the v5 and v7 vintage harder to play fast/technical stuff compared to the v7?

i have a v7 normal in lake placid blue, it's really beautiful
