I like turtles.
Anyone watch the Wales/Scotland match this afternoon? I was rooting for Wales the whole time, and by the time it reached the 75th minute I was convinced that Scotland had it in the bag. Then Wales came right back and blew me away with that ending - talk about suspense!

:hyper:

From the other side of the lines here guys.

The scottish hooker and the other bloke who was sin binned are A-grade a-holes. I hope they aren't getting to play for scotland again. IMO they cost us the game.

I'll also say that Wales were just as bad at collapsing scrums as Scotland were, especially in the first half.

The added time, I have no grievance with that vs the ref. I have a problem with the scottish captain. There was that last play. Scotland had the start off. Scotland were two men down. What they should have done is just cleared the ball, ending the final play, and ending the game. Then it would have ended in a draw. For some stupid reason they decided to try and score, even though they were at a heavy disadvantage, being two men down. Very poor tactics on behalf of scotland there.

However, it was an AMAZING game. Excellent rugby all the way through (bar the last 7 minutes when we had issues from the two aforementioned A-holes). And even supporting wales, you can't deny that scotland scored some incredible trys. Especially Evans try before half time!

Pity the Ireland - France game wasn't so good. I was expecting a great game. But it didnt happen. Damn it :(

Do you know of a place to watch any of the games online?

I play rugby for my college team, but I rarely get to see any since the sports channels that show them in the US cost a ridiculous amount of money per month. :bawl:

My coach usually orders the games, sometimes he records them and burns them to DVDs to let the players watch :)

It might be on the BBC iPlayer:

I also want to add to my previous post. The one thing that annoyed me is that I thought one of the welsh players should have been sin binned. There was a pile up at one stage, and cusiter ended up with his elbow over the ball. The welsh player (cant remember who) stuck the boot into his elbow.

While cusiter shouldnt have had his elbow on the ball, it didnt look like he was in a position to move, plus he wasnt even able to see where the ball was. Which doesnt excuse it, and granted, a penalty should have been given for that. But there was absolutely no reason the welsh player should have gotten away with sticking the boot in.

Either way, I stand by it being an amazing game!
