Six string bass build

so I've started building a 6 string bass, and I've come across a dilemma. I bought a Gecko neck off of Warmoth, and so I was planning on bolting the neck to the body, but the guy at the woodshop I'm using said he has some marine epoxy that is basically indestructible. Should I just set the neck with the epoxy? Is that a good idea with the amount of tension that the strings add? Obviously there's a truss rod and I've seen set neck 4 strings, I was just wondering about 6
Thanks, Drew

Is the body already drilled for screw holes? Personally, I would just go bolt on, but if you decide to go set neck, skip the epoxy and use titebond wood glue.

In answer to the question, yes a set neck is fine for 6 strings and more. You should decide which you would prefer though (bolt or set), the fact that the epoxy might be indestructible doesn't really come into it as bolts will be equally strong. With bolts you also have the added bonus of being able to remove the neck should it ever be damaged or needs replacing for other reasons. If it's your first build you have more margin for error with a bolt on should something not go right too.
