Six String guitar with wide string spacing

I googled it cuz I was curious.

Not much info out there regarding this. Someone else asked the question here also, and got little to no response. This was what I found on a guitar forum [Invalid or Expired Link Removed] .

I'd suggest gooling it youself using "string spacing" "wide neck" "wide nut" etc. in your search. Doubt you'll get a whole lot of response here.

The various copies of Brian May's 'Red Special' tend towards a wide nut width (around 45 mm) but I honestly wouldn't worry about it too much.

It can vary a bit, my dad had an old vox teardrop with a very tight string spacing, but both Fender and Gibson (and their derivatives) have a reasonable string spacing that you'll soon get the hang of.

Just a random thought... You may already be aware that Warwick bridges are adjustable 3 ways: Forward/back for intonation, up/down for action, and left/right for string spacing.

Your question makes me wonder if the Framus bridges are similar. That way you could set whichever string spacing you want. It might be a topic worth posting in the Warwick forum.
