In the interest of full disclosure, I am an SX fanboy rondo too. I have never played an American Fender 6er string J. But my SX lets me do what I wanna do, so I say Why pay more?

Six string SX Jazz?

It's not quite as easy as that. The control cavity is small so depending on the preamp that you choose you might have to some routing under the pickguard to fit the preamp and certainly the battery. I shoehorned an EMG BQC 3-band EQ into my SX jazz but it is a very tight fit. I use V,V ,stacked mid and stacked B/T so I had to mount a side output jack. I carved out enough space at the top of the control cavity under the pickguard to be able to replace the battery by removing the control plate instead of the pickguard. If I get ambitious I'll install a battery recepticle in the back some day.

I did not make it, someone made it from the original for me. Pickguardian.com can do the same. You will probably not find a guard for the Ursa 2 6 anywhere in a shelf because the pickups are not a standard size and the mounting flanges are an unusual distance from each other.
You see I'm mainly into jazz & funk. If I bought it id use it almost exclusivly for that.. those don't look like normal jazz pups though.
They pretty much are normal Jazz pups... except they are for a 6 string jazz.
