I believe solid colors are no upcharge, bursts might be, not really sure. I played that 6 string one some and thought it sounded great. The 2-band is actually really nice, and all most folks would need anyhow.

Yeah all Skjold's now use the Skjold pickups. He no longer offers EMG's or Bart's. They either have 2 SC1's, or 1 C4 (which is 2 SC1's mounted into a single housing).

Awesome. His pickups really are the way to go in his basses.

How are Skjold Pro basses? Has anyone had one or heard about them?

I'm not sure about the Pro series but I have a Single Cut 5 that is pure heaven to play.

Ditto- what the group says,very nice basses.
i got a new Pro-series w/ upgraded electronics and hardware. Love the preamp, very flexible, and the custom pickups sound very full. Its a great punchy bass and better, looks fantastic (cool tobacco burst stain w/ grain enhancement).
Pete can really put them together, and he been fantasticto deal w/.

I played this bass before it was spoken for. Absolutely killer! Super growly and had a great presence to it. Congrats on the purchase. I KNOW you will enjoy this bass!
