Slapping on a p bass

Well, I am not all too fond of slapping as a whole, but If I am forced to listen to it I prefer the sound of it coming from a P bass over a Jazz bass.

On which songs did he use a P bass? I only remember seeing him with a Stingray and a few jazz bass typre basse but never with a P....

As for the slap sound: I really like a P bass slap sound. Problem that most P basses have is that when you thumb slap the E string it clacks against the pickup. You really have to lower the pickup considerably to avoid that annoying click.
