Double Bass Sloane/Rubner tuner question

Can someone share the shaft diameters for the Sloane and Rubner "Rustic French" tuners?

My caliper says 1/2".

....on the bass being considered for tuner replacement.

Half-inch sounds right. I replaced the Rubners on one of my Solanos with Sloanes and had no trouble other than drilling through the pegbox cheeks and trimming the rollers to fit. No stress at all…
