slow loading pages?

Hi Paul

Has anyone advised you of really slow page loading in certain cases? It's not every page, but often when I'm opening threads, it is very slow opening the page.

I have had no other reports. The hangup could be anywhere, especially if you're accessing TalkBass from Australia.

I would suggest doing a traceroute, to see if the problem is TalkBass or a 'hop' along the way. If you're using Windows, open up the command prompt and type:

tracert www.talkbass.com

and copy/paste the output here.

I've noticed the same problem. Much slower than other boards I've seen most of the time. Here is my trace:

Is the slowness something you've noticed for a long time (several weeks)? There's one hop at here

that seems to be slowing you down...

[edit] Nevermind - just noticed you joined a few days ago I'll bet that atdn.net hop fixes itself soon.
