Does anyone know a source to get a replacement foam disk that sits on top of the cartridge in a SM58? Mine is completely deteriorated.

Thanks for finding that for me! I'm excited by the $1.45 price, but disappointed by the $5.70 shipping. If I can't find it better, I may have to make my own.
Awesome. Full Compass is a nice bike ride from here. I've got a couple of EV mikes with the same problem.
Call Shure's customer service line. They'll probably send you one free of charge. They sent me an Sm57 screen retainer clip.
Shure also has a fixed "repair cost" for broken mics. For 57s and 58s I think it is around $50. They don't fix your mic, they just send a new one.
True. I needed the foam liner for the inside of a Super 55 and they sent me a half-dozen of them, gratis.

2025 Update: I just contacted Shure Customer Service (800-516-2525) and they were super helpful. The part # for the foam disc that sits on top of the element is confirmed as 36B210. The cost for the part is USD$00.46 (46 cents each). No minimum order, but there is shipping charge of $10. My total cost for 10 units plus shipping is $15.87.
It did take a few minutes to set up an account, but the rep was super friendly and patient while I did that.
