Small boost pedal.

just wondering what are some of the volume boost pedal on the market that are really small. im talking gain knob and stomp switch and thats all. i really don't want to waste space on something like a boost pedal.

I use the [Invalid or Expired Link Removed]. It´s quite transparent, small and it provides a 20dB boost.

yeah thank for that, i think i might go with the EHX simply on price. i laughed when i read how Xotix are trying to sell their linear boost as a pedal that "captures the celebrated tones of the world's most famous players" and that "great tone starts here". LOL.

There was a ProTone Low Gear Thruster listed in the classifieds. Awesome simple booster, just a volume and stomp switch. Good price too.

Small is great. I use the Visual Volume pedal ( med. size) by Visual Sound. It works great with my 810-E, enough vol. for
(2) cabs......

If you're handy with a soldering iron you can build an EHX clone into a Melekko small size box, parts and al should run 25-30 bucks. Search for the LPB-1 schematic and lok ay smallbearelec.com for the parts and pieces.

+1. Gets it done, and at a nice price. Unless you have to have something smaller, the LPB-1 is a great choice.

Its a clone of the echoplex tape machine preamp.
Lots of "famous players" did in fact use echoplexes.
It supposedly does in fact have "good tone".
I would like to try one sometime but I don't like blue led's.

Price?
Size?
Circuit/Results?

I'll +1 this one.
I have a dual MSB (Super Duper 2-in-1 clone) and it works amazingly well. It's currently on my guitar board, but I will definitely be getting a regular MSB for the bass board at some point. Daniel makes some great pedals. He's also working on rehousing my B:Assmaster to make it smaller.
