I would look at a greenboy Bassic15 loaded with a Faital 15PR400.

 

Something like this, but you would have your choice of options. Weighs in the low 30's too.

Nope, its only available through an authorized builder. There are fEARful plans that are free, but this is not in that category. Believe it or not, the 15PR400 has some serious top end extension. There is a Bassic12 with the 12PR300 that has a tweeter, but there is currently no Bassic15 with a tweeter.

 

The cab on the right is a Bassic12 with the 12PR300 and tweeter. Weighed 22 pounds.

 

FWIW the Bassic12 I was borrowing for a few weeks is an amazing little cab. You would be surprized at how loud and full it sounds with my PF-500. For small/med stuff it would be gigable for most, depending on the rest of the band. Two of them would be crazy good. Very sweet mids and top end extension.

 

The bassic is not going to be as extended in the lows, but will still handle everything a 5 string can dish out. The mids are going to be there, but they wont have the same off axis dispersion of the fEARful cabs. The 15sub is not a stand alone cab, and should only be used with a fEARful with a mid driver.

As far as price goes, the fEARful plans are free, you can build one your self if you want. If you wanted to go through an AB then you would have to contact them and see what the options you want cost. Most have general prices posted on their web sites.
