Smart Pets

That's always been an area of confusion for me:

They always said that Toonces was the cat who could drive a car, but every time they showed the cat driving the car, he'd crash.

I would submit that Toonces is the cat that cannot drive a car.

Just kidding!

Stay in School! :ninja:

:D Same with my dog, I've tried my best but two pedestrians and 8 lampposts later I'm not up for teaching him anymore, bloody disappointment...I thought Collie's were said to be intelligent......overrated IMO :)

IMO, no pet will truly be considered smart until it learns to enslave its master and make it poo in a box of sand.

They make people collect their poo from the streets, they're smart enough.;)

My aunt's cat watches TV,and leave it when the commertials start, come back when they're done.

Grandparent's cat loves to play fetch.

We had a bird 7years ago,he lived with us for 7 years.Considering his brain size,he was smarter than all of us,theorically.:D

He could speak any word he heard more than three times. After 20:00 he used to start a speaking spree, man he know sooooo many words that it would take him a few hours to shut the heck up.:p

I taught him to whistle when I asked him to,he never responded to any one else.Any time I asked him to whistle,he did.:smug::crying: I miss him...

Long-ish, funny story about Joshu, the King of Dogs, back in the day...

Joshu, if by chance he were to steal some food, would always take it to a secluded place to eat it.
My girlfriend was a late sleeper. This particular morning I had gotten her some donuts and left them on the kitchen counter for when she woke up.
After I left for work, Joshu stole the donuts, and decided that the bedroom would be a safe and quiet place to eat them.
As my girlfriend tells it "BAM!" the badroom door slams open (that's ol' Joshu, never subtle about opening doors) and there's Joshu, standing in the doorway, with a bag of donuts. She sits up, he looks at her, she looks at him...
And he wags his tail and brings her the bag of donuts.
"Here, thought you might want these, and of course you'll give me something for my trouble, right?" :D
True story.
He was an amazing dog. He's the black one in this photo. May the rabbits be fat and just a bit too slow where he is now.

He lived quite the epic life. More stories about him here:

That's too funny, I made a sandwich, put it in a sandwich baggie and went to the bedroom to ask my wife if we had any lunchbags. We ended up talking for a few minutes. As I am about to go back to the kitchen, my black lab comes walking around the corner with the sandwich in his mouth. Didn't even puncture the bag with his teeth. I said, "is that for me?" and he dropped it in my hand.
