This is for a 90's USA Peavey Foundation 5....need smooth feel for rounds with little string flop.....Anyone? Thanks in advance!

Smooth RW 5er set for low action and little string flop

Good ole D'Addario XL Nickels are pretty "stiff" compared to many others. Stick to hex core regardless. Round core strings will generally feel a little more loose.
DR Nickel Lo-Riders. Very smooth (for a roundwound) and the hex-core stiffness keeps them from flopping too much. The Lo-Riders also come in stainless steel, which are not quite as smooth as the Nickel version, but smoother than most other SS rounds.
Lol riders should work well. They seem to check the boxes and are good strings. Stiffer but pretty smooth feeling. The tone is pretty great too.
Another honorable mention would be sadowski black label strings. They seem to be higher tension and if they feel anywhere close to blue labels they will be easy on fingers and feel like high quality strings.
