Saw then in Calgary July '07 and in Edmonton May '08. Both amazing concerts but in my opinion the second one was better. When they played 2112 the second time (only the first two parts though) I thought that stadium was going to get torn down by fans, it was just way to awesome.

Snakes & Arrows, who else was bright enough to go?!

I saw them both this year and last year at Nissan Pavillion somewhere in the middle of nowhere, Virginia. This year's show I thought was much better than last year. Last year people weren't into the Snakes and Arrows material and actually sat down through those songs, but this year people got into those songs a lot more. Being in the 13th row this year sure helped too... we were pretty far back last year.
As others have stated the show was good start to finish so it's hard to pick any one thing, but if I were to pick some of my favourite performances of the night they would include Geddy playing the instrumental before the drum solo on the Jaco signature fretless, Between the Wheels (I know that's not new for this tour, but still great to hear live!), and they did some cool stuff in the Trees too... added a lot of samples. This year the firecrackers kept catching me off guard though... Must've jumped at least three feet every time they went off.

No, they are entirely on ears with a drum sub for Neil so he can feel the kick.
IEMs don't delay any one instrument over the other. All the instruments are going to the same snake, the same monitor desk, the same processing, etc. It's not like each player sets their own local levels. Geddy has to ask for more of himself in his ears from the monitor engineer just like anyone else in the band.
I've never heard of ANY system that would delay more than a few milliseconds, much less a quarter note.

Saw them for the first time in 2004 at the White River Amphitheatre for their 30th anniv. tour. and then i saw them on both S&A tours. This year's was rad though. I also saw them on the 31st of may and it was a damn good show.
I really like how alot of us agree that this years tour was a bit better than last. Not because of setlist changes, but because they seemed more comfortable playing the new material. It really was the best I've ever heard them.
Can't wait for the new tour DVD of the Rotterdam show this November. They were filming the Atlanta show also for the new songs in the setlist as bonus material for the DVD, thank goodness. This is a relief because I really wanted to see the new songs again as well as the original set.

Saw them September last year and last month in Cincinnati. I agree with Daion82, the sound was not up to par. The band, on the other hand! I quite liked YYZ and Passage to Bangkok.
I saw them in Uncasville,CT at Mohegan Sun on July 7th. Rush is my favorite band and they did not dissappoint me at all! My favorite songs out of the set were:

I saw rush in detroit in june, I have been a big fan since the 'FLY BY NIGHT" album. Getty inspired an old man like me to start on the bass guitar, fender jazz bass, of course. The show was awesome from start to finish. I say it was a tie with Def Leppard at the DTE theater. But this show was longer but it was worth it. I was lucky to be on the main floor 26 rows back. My favorite moment was "working them angels" with pictures of everyday heros ending with our troops in oversees. Fantastic night.
Saw them in Concord in August of last year. Incredible show.

I saw them in Scranton last year for S&A. KILLER show, and the best Rush performance I think I've ever seen. Workin' Them Angels gave me goose bumps BAD!

Both shows were incredible, especially last year's. I thought they might have some kinks to work out, it being the first show of the tour and all, but they were spot on.
If I had to pick out one song as my favorite from the shows, it would be "Malignant Narcissism." Not really because of the fretless bass, but just because it's such a kick-a$$ tune and they rocked it so hard.

Yup, November, last I heard. They went back and filmed the pieces from the changed setlist on the second leg, so the DVD should have all the songs they performed.
