Hey guys I was hoping to get some tips on the solo section of Skate U. I'm okay at just connecting chord tones but my phrasing and ideas are always short when it comes to this progression.

Hello! I'm in the midst of transcribing the solo - when I get a video up I'll post a link here, and hopefully it'll help you to understand the phrasing, etc

Also, it would help to ascertain how his note choices are related to the chord behind it (e.g. was that line a walk-up from the 11? Was that a just a chromatic passing note to lead into the next change?), and then you can reproduce those ideas no matter what key or progression you solo over
