I've seen one person say that the 2X10 has more surface area, and I also read someone say that the 1X15 has more surface area.
For ONLY SURFACE AREA, lets do the math.
A=(pi)r^2
For the 2X10 -> A=(3.14)5^2 = 78.5 (x2 speakers) = 157 square inches
For the 1X15 -> A=(3.14)(7.5)^2 = 176.25 square inches
So from strictly a surface area perspective (without regards to cab dimesions, speaker specs, etc) the 1X15 wins.
Also, I vote the 1X15 anyways, it's what I use, and I love it. Nice low sound, reasonable volume levels.
