Double Bass So a EB guy walks into a bar…

So Fellas you guys already know AI amps are great but they don’t get enough love in the EB world. Omg are these amps great for the electric too . I’m absolutely smitten with this thing and let me tell you the on board reverb is delicious on a fretless. Even at 8 ohms and a single 10” it held up against a room full of amps and drums. Thank you AI!

...and here's the thing, I don't personally own any Acoustic Image Amps, but their reputation proceeds them with a whole group of bassists who are my friends and acquaintances.
I use a Grace Felix Preamp with a Headway EDB/2 H.E. as a backup and MAS Cabinets exclusively. So, they just have a excellent reputation among the Double Bass community.

No question , I have a very positive experience with AI as well . In a ever changing flow of global business sourcing and outsourcing it's nice to be able to still get outstanding service and products right here at home .

The components AI uses aren't made in the U.S. so there have been some backlogs and delays, which are entirely not A.I.'s fault. Hopefully, things will smooth out as we continue to move out of our current situations
