Yes, it has a quick release bridge backed by a second quick-release tailpiece. Makes for fast and easy non-destructive string changes AND you can use either medium scale strings, or regular long-scale strings (that bass is medium scale). I found the limited range of available medium-scale strings to be , well..., rather limiting. So this is a nice solution!
