So I lost my 5ft Python and found her at GC..

I've had a ball python for the last 5 years. Her name is Cornflake. She got out of her cage about 2 weeks ago and I could not find her ANYWHERE in my apartment. I had given up hope finding her and figured she'd pop up in one of my neighbors toilets

Fast forward to last night. I went to Guitar Center to trade in a Markbass traveler 15 cab for a UA apollo twin. We did the trade in and I was about to check out when something caught my eye in the port on the back...

Cornflake was INSIDE the cabinet! She had made her way into the cab and would not budge. We took the speaker out and after a 30 minute struggle, removed her. All of this happened in the middle of GC.

My roommate, who is a manager at GC, got a few pics on her potato quality phone.

Did you play the cab with cornflake inside? Would that make her come out of the cab or do they like that vibration?
well that's another reason I got rid of it. I've brought the cab out of the house once in the year I've had it. I only use my markbass 2x10 combo now! Funny thing is, I checked in the combo to see if she was in there.

I saw a video one time of a guy cleaning the pots on an amp head. When he opened up the head there was an abandoned rat nest in the corner. Maybe Cornflake was looking for food and wound up in your cab?

How the hell did you sleep knowing that thing could have been lurking around in your apartment?

Well it wasn't the first time she's gotten out! I was actually hoping she would crawl in bed with me so I could find her!

I had an old Yamaha head stored in a barn. The band at the time was rehearsing in a downtown warehouse, so I decided to take the amp there to use. As I was carrying it in, a bunch of mice came out of the amp, ran down my back and scurried off. They woke up as country mice, but ended the day as city mice. It was darned decent of them to wait to come out instead of in the car.
