don't worry about the gov/econ test. Those were both a walk in the park. Got fives on both of em. Don't know anything about the psych one, I didn't take it.

I'm attending a university right now, and I absolutely agree with CapnSev's sentiments. The AP courses get you credit for the lower division general ed classes. The lower division classes are a total breeze. Heck, even my regular high school biology course was harder than Bio101...


the nice thing about taking classes that are harder in high school is that they are WAAAAAY cheaper.

I'm in my senior year of high school and I'm takingAP Honors American National Government/Microeconomics (It's one class) and AP Psychology to finish up with. How hard is each and what should I be expecting??

I love history by the way.

Don't sweat it. I took 5 my senior year(Calculus, Physics, American History, English Literature, and French Literature) and passed them all. No Problem.

My experience was the complete opposite. The college classes were way easier than the AP classes/tests. They're not worth it IMO, I think they kind of kill the high school experience be heaping a ton of unnecessarily hard work on top of you.

This. College was a joke compared to my high school AP classes. The math course I took that was supposedly the NEXT level was stuff I was doing early junior year in high school. The physics course was probably on par with the high school AP class, but since I'd already taken it once....

AP psych was apparently a joke class at my school, and the test as well. Stats is another easy one if you want to go that route, you could probably study for a month before the test without knowing anything and get a 5. Unfortunately I don't think I gained much knowledge from that class. Two APs shouldn't be hard at all.
