I've sold my Stingray and Trace Elliot T-Bass and made room for a new bass. I want all of them, I would prefer to buy second hand, but they never appear. The Reverend is hard to find at all, but the others are in stock here and there in Europe. The Embassy is cheap, and I might end up getting it anyway.

My main players are a Fender P with a Curtis Novak PB-90 and a Gibson EB 2013, both hot and hard-hitting. These should all be in that ballpark if my research is correct.

So what do you say? And why?

Embassy. It's the most comfortable thing you can play that sounds like a t bird.

The non reverse sounds good, a bit of a bigger feeling bass body wise, but to say the truth my 2013 EB sounds better to me and is a bit more comfortable.

I kept my Ray34 which I found superior to the Stingray in most ways. It rarely gets played, though.

I was under the impression it was less muddy and closer to P, a bit like the new NR T-Bird. Are you saying it's more like the regular T?

You just disqualified yourself. It looks great. I'm glad I started using wide straps 20 years ago, and I don't really care about a bit of neck dive.

Talking about cool looking basses, I wouldn't mind one of these to match my Lindert Locomotive T guitar:

Yeah… that’s hideous. Sometimes, I like hideous… but most definitely not that. I’d be willing to bet you like the Ibanez Talman too…

I feel ya on the wide straps, but neck dive ain’t the issue for me. The shorter strap horn tends to put basses to far towards my fretting hand making it more of a reach and then my plucking hand is in a weird position and quite uncomfortable. The Pedulla Pentabuzz I owned for a couple years, Thunderbirds, Explorers, Les Pauls, Tele shapes, some old Guild boat oars… all unplayable for me.

Yeah, I see the point on the reach. I recently tried a Gibson G3 and I noticed the first fret was closer to me than on my P. Very comfortable, but not my sound. The Talman is lovely. I'm drawn to retro aesthetics.
