Haha, well, technically I can afford them all, but that won't go down well with the family. There are other expenses that someone expects to take priority over new basses for me. I'm sticking to one for now, but I'm not limited by cost for the one I'm getting.
 
After watching exchange rates going up for months, I had given up finding a Gibson Non Reverse Thunderbird at an acceptable price. I even contemplated pulling the trigger on a green one that popped up semi-locally, even if it had a few bad dings and was priced a bit high, but yesterday I happened to browse Musik-Produktiv's Black Week sale. For some reason, they still had one in each color at 17% discount (and their original price was already the lowest around), so I jumped at the chance and ordered the burgundy one for around $1300 shipped. There will be another $350 in taxes upon delivery, but still a very decent price. Cheapest I've seen, and in the color I wanted. Can't wait!
