Two very different basses. I'd go with the Thumb of those two, but I'd prefer a different Jazz instead of the MM.
You couldn't find two more different basses, ergonomically speaking, and you couldn't find too many that were more different sonically either. You really need to try these basses out for yourself and decide (and make sure you try them while standing, because that might help you make your decision very quickly). Definitely do not make your decision based solely on feedback here in this thread. I will say that I like Fenders a lot but would choose a Jazz other than the MM.
Well I'm looking into buying a bass around 1000 euros and these 2 are the ones that impressed me mostly, although I checked and played a couple other basses too, but indeed they are by far different from each other, but I can't decide which one! I always liked the Warwick thumb NT and Jazz basses in general.

Of those two....give me the Fender. The Thumb is a fine bass, but it has an innate, midrangey tone that can't be EQ'd out. While that tone may be great for some things, I don't find it suitable for a variety of styles IMO/IME. The MM Jazz, or any good Jazz, is going to be more versatile and suited to a wider range of genres. Its one of the reasons Jazz basses are so popular, they just about everything and do it well...again IMO/IME.
However, one thing a Jazz will never do is sound like a Thumb, so if you're in love with THAT tone, you'd only get it from the Warwick. I recommend the Jazz, but really its down to whichever sound you're after.
