the egg pin clamps onto your bass's endpin socket and has an adjustable angled pin to allow playing with the bass at a 'tilted back' angle.
very good for experimenting with playing the bass with an angled endpin. i got it and after using it for a few months decided to have my bass drilled for the angled pin, so i'm getting rid of it.
it was designed by paul ellison in concert with robertson's (i believe). very sturdy and in good condition.
