I've been thinking, I have a few ideas of experimenting with the electronics on one of my project basses, and was thinking about why not use these (dunno their name in english)..

I mean, here I could just screw down one of these in the shielded cavity, connect all wires from the pots, switches and pups, and just use "patch cables" on the other side kind of like in a recording studio, and if I feel that I would like to change something, it's an easy match to just open the cavity and unscrew a "patch cable" and repatch the setup?
Would I risk loosing too much signal here even if I use a hi end whatever theyre called, and hi end wires?
