In my church, we're using a Marantz PMD570 to record sermons and other spoken events. It works but I'd like to upgrade it. I'd like the following features:
-built-in hard drive for storing recordings
-ftp access via ethernet or wifi
The one we have uses CF cards. They're ok but are kind of a pain. These days, I'd rather something like this use SDHC if it needs to use removable media. I'd also like USB support so that I can copy files from the internal storage (SDHC or disk).
The Tascam HD-R1 seems to have network connectivity but lacks a disk. So, it's close to what I want but not quite.
Any alternate suggestions?
Note that the unit needs to support control over RS-232.
Thanks,
Dan
